🎉 Celebrating the Retirement of Amy Tavernier! 🎉 After more than 25 years of dedicated service to Friendship Schools, we are celebrating the retirement of an incredible educator and an even more incredible person, Amy Tavernier, Speech-Language Pathologist. For more than two decades, Amy has made a lasting difference in the lives of countless students and families. Her compassion, patience, expertise, and genuine care for children have been a tremendous gift to our school community. She has been a trusted colleague, a caring advocate for students, and an important part of the Friendship Schools family. Amy, we will truly miss you! 💜💛 Your years of service, your dedication to our students, and the relationships you’ve built will not be forgotten. Earlier this week, we celebrated our youngest learners during our Pre-K Moving Up Day ceremony, followed by a wonderful reception with families and staff. It was a special opportunity to recognize the growth, accomplishments, and bright futures of our students as they prepare for their next educational milestone.

A sincere thank you to Breanna Brooks, Stephanie Hulin, Anastasia Jefferds, and Megan Solomon for their outstanding efforts in coordinating such a memorable event. Your dedication helped make today a meaningful celebration for our students and families.

Congratulations to our Pre-K students—we can't wait to see all that you accomplish in Kindergarten!

Senior Spotlights ✨✨

Kennedy Hunt is a power house! She's not even in an art course this year. She is a true artist. Can't deny talent. Her art was entered into St Bonaventure University by Mrs Welka It was a Juried Art Show. Getting in requires having your work judged to be only the best. It is a multi county competition of heavy weight artists. We'll call Kennedy Mike Tyson because this amazing artist knocked them all out and took First Place in Best Painting. They know her value and threw in a $1000 scholarship to get her thinking about their campus. Sweetly they also awarded a large acrylic painting kit. Our kids in our small town can play it big ! I'm so excited Kennedy Is taking an Indeoendent art class next year. Let's make a portfolio and make some plans for you.
