Friendship Central School is proud to congratulate senior Madison Rondeau on being recognized as the top senior student from Friendship Central School at the prestigious “Big 30” Regional Scholarship Dinner held on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Madison, the daughter of Courtney Wagner and Bryan Rondeau, earned the distinction of Valedictorian for the Friendship Central School Class of 2026 with an outstanding cumulative average of 97.970 percent. She will graduate with an Advanced Regents Diploma.

Throughout her high school career, Madison consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning High Honor Roll recognition every marking period during her freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years. She is currently enrolled in the New Vision: Medical program as part of her senior coursework and plans to continue her education at Bryant University in Rhode Island, where she will major in Health Sciences with a minor in Health Management. Madison will also continue her successful bowling career as a member of Bryant University’s NCAA Division I bowling team.
In addition to her academic achievements, Madison has been deeply involved in student leadership and extracurricular activities. She served as Class President for all four years of high school through Student Government and has been an active member of the National Honor Society since her sophomore year. Madison also contributed to the school community as a member of the Yearbook Staff during her junior and senior years.

Athletically, Madison has represented Friendship Central School with pride in soccer, softball, and varsity bowling. Bowling has been her primary athletic focus, and she has competed at the varsity level from grades 8 through 12. During her bowling career, she has also been actively involved with the Greater Buffalo United States Bowling Congress (GB-USBC) Youth Leaders program.
Madison’s additional activities and experiences include participation in Band during her freshman and sophomore years, earning All-County Band honors as a freshman, involvement in 4-H Club, volunteering at the Friendship Food Booth during the Allegany County Fair, and employment at Charlie’s Pizza Place in Cuba.
